Old Ben Homes Ltd is situated in the village of Seaford in between Brighton and Eastbourne. Set in the beautiful Sussex Downs it is a stone’s throw from the sea.
The Properties
There are 36 one-bedroom bungalows, 4 two-bedroom bungalows and 1 two-bedroom house, all of which have a court yard at the back with their own sheds. Surrounding each bungalow is a small garden which the residents tend to, we also have extensive communal lawns which are looked after by our gardeners.
Eleven of the properties have assisted shower facilities. We are currently looking at upgrading the kitchens in all properties.
Facilities and Activities
The Scheme Manager/Warden and Estates Manager work onsite from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and there is a 24 hour community alarm service.
There is a communal lounge with regular activities such as bingo, coffee mornings, fish and chip suppers, knit and natter and darts. A Residents Committee helps organise various events. We are proud to have been third for 2011, 2012 & 2013 in Sussex in Bloom!
